HypnoBirthing® was featured in a story about painless childbirth on the "Richard and Judy" TV show on 8th July 2004.
They interviewed Marie Mongan, the founder of HypnoBirthing®. Also featured were Marie Cooksey and Steve Bowerman, a couple who recently used HypnoBirthing® for the birth of their first child.

Pain Free Childbirth Through Hypnosis
Over 1000 people in the UK have opted to use a form of self hypnosis for pain free childbirth. The method, called the Mongan Theory, teaches you that in the absence of fear and tension, severe pain does not have to be an accompaniment of labour and the mother can experience 'little or no discomfort' during the birth. Marie Mongan, the founder of the Mongan theory, joins Richard & Judy along with a couple who have used the method for the birth of their first child.
