Position of the baby at 29 weeks
The baby was in a transverse position at our last midwife appointment and whilst the midwife reassured us there was lots of time to turn I feel this is a favoured position of the baby for quite some time now and I don't want the baby to get too comfy therefore I have been using the knee-chest position for about 10 minutes each evening, pillows to stop myself sleeping on my back and trying to sit as upright as possible at all times. I have also read a few things which suggest talking to the baby and asking them to turn so I have been talking and singing a little made up song and just really wondering if there is anything else we can try to get the baby used to being in other positions? I think what I am doing is working a bit at the moment from where I can feel the movements but I also think the baby is a bit stubborn and is moving back to transverse when it gets the chance!!! Any advice greatly appreciated.
