Train in Holland, May 08 by Marie Mongan!!!

Postby katherine » Wed Feb 20, 2008 8:11 pm

Hi all

I am a HypnoBirthing mum who is very keen to become a practitioner. I am on the waiting list for a course in the UK but it seems like there is no way of knowing when the next course is going to be. After a suggestion from a friend I have looked into getting the qualification abroad and have now signed up to be trained in Holland by Marie Mongan herself!

She is running a course from the 29th of May 2008 to the 1st of June 2008 and there are some places left. I am in contact with the course organiser and she was keen for me to see if there are any others from the UK who might be interested in joining the group.

This is the exact same course as is run in the UK and will be conducted in English by Marie and her collegue. They are even able to offer a discount for people interested in travelling over from the UK!

The total cost is 800euros (currently just under £600) this price includes the 4 day course as well as accomodation for 4 nights (wednesday 28th to saturday 31st May) and all meals and hot/soft drinks! a great deal I thought.

Travel costs will be on top of this but looking at current flights, for me coming from London its about £100 return to fly to Rotterdam. Virginia, the course organiser, is arranging transfers from Rotterdam to the Venue.

Im really looking forward to the course, having the opportunity to be trained by Marie herself is fantastic. Please feel free to contact me if you would like any other information. Hope to see some other UK Hypno students there, maybe we could arrange to travel over together?

UK dates

Postby gordon_mullan » Fri Feb 22, 2008 11:48 am

Although they have now sold out, we know the dates for training in the UK through to May 2008, and announced these before Christmas.

We are finalising the dates for the second half of 2008 now, and will be mailing them out over the next few weeks.

To make sure you get the dates as soon as we have them, please sign up to our HypnoBirthing practitioner training mailing list

Hi All

Just an update on the Practitioner training course being run in Holland by Marie Mongan as I've found out a few more details.

The complete course is being run in four days. That means any HypnoBirthing mums like me, who are non birth professionals and have no Hypnotherepy training can learn everything required to become a HypnoBirthing practitioner in the one course.

The subjects covered will be exactly the same as the UK course including "Introduction to Hypnosis for Childbirth" the "Certification Workshop for HypnoBirthing®" and the Birth Basics certificate (usually run at a seperate time in the UK)

If you would like any additional information please let me know and I will give you the email address of the organiser in Holland, she has been really helpful and I'm sure will be able to answer any questions you may have.

Hope to see some of you there xx

Complete course in four days

Postby gordon_mullan » Tue Mar 11, 2008 10:20 pm

Hi

Please check that you have this correct. The Birth Basics is 2 days, the Introduction to Hypnosis is 2 days and the Practitioner Certification is 2 days.

It is not possible to do all three in four days.

What usually happens is you do the Intro to Hypnosis and Practitioner Certification, and then the Birth Basics at a later date or as home study.

Best regards

Hypnobirthing in Holland

Postby sharrontesto » Fri Mar 14, 2008 7:58 am

Hi All,

Just to let you know that I have put my name down on the list for this course with Mary Mogan herself ,in Holland end of May.

They need a few more people to make the course viable.
So come on girls! What are you waiting for?

The price includes accomodation and collection from Rotterdam.

If you are interested, you can email Virginia in Holland as follows:- info@levenshoulding.nl

Hope to see some of you there!
