Qualification

Postby thickythicky » Thu Apr 28, 2005 11:12 pm

Hi
I am booked onto the June 25th course for hypnobirthing. Could you tell me what the letters are that qualified instructors can put after their names. I keep seeing HBCE, and Hypnobirthing Practioner.....do you have to use the R symbol whenever you state hypnobirthing???

Many thanks
JR

Use of (R)

Hi

Not sure about letters after your name (perhaps one of the advisory board can tell us), but you do, absolutely, definitely, have to use the correct spelling, capitalisation and registered mark.

It is: HypnoBirthing(R) - capital H, capital B, no spaces or hyphens, and the (R) after it.

For what it's worth, the usual term if you're qualified is HypnoBirthing Practitioner.

Best regards
