Hi, not sure where to post this so will try here. My name is Claire and I am a doula and childbirth educator, I am from the UK but currently live and work in Singapore. I will be taking Hypnobirthing practitioner training in June. I would be very interested to hear from anyone else such as midwives, doulas, childbirth educators who have succesfully integrated hypnobirthing into their "other" role and any challenges they have found. I have had two babies myself, one in hospital and one homebirth and have not used hypnobirthing myself. I do confess to being a bit sceptical but am keeping an open mind! Incidentally I do plan on returning to the UK next year and will be looking to set up a practise there but not sure where we will be living yet so it is all a bit academic at the moment! Thanks in advance for any comments/thoughts! |
