Hi
Just saw the trailer at the end of tonight's show and it looks like Jenny / HypnoBirthing is going to be on BBC3 tomorrow night - Wednesday 14th September, 8:30pm.
Set your videos!
Like I said before, they filmed for ages but we don't know what they've edited it down to, so we're very nervous
Best regards

Hi
As you can see from the link/news flash on the front page, I've now created a small separate page for HypnoBirthing on He's Having A Baby.
Hopefully this should help the search engine rankings for anyone looking for information about it as a result of the show.
Best regards

I saw the part about HypnoBirthing on Saturday night. I thought Roberta did great to go for so long, 20 hours and 9cm before deciding to transfer to hospital (where she was induced and had an epidural for the last bit). Has anyone had any response saying they heard about HB from the show. I haven't I thought maybe the fact she ended up in hospital with an epidural put people off.
Well done Roberta and Matthew! |

I have a class tonight so I was hoping to get some additional info from Gordon or Jenny about the labour.....I had one mum who had exactly the same kind of labour and when I asked the OB he said the baby was posterior...and only for that she would have zipped through.

My baby was posterior and I used the HB techniques throughout the labour. Had some gas and air & he eventually turned.
I had no tears or stitches and I out some of that down to the techniques, husband (birth companion) & Annette, the midwife.
Was breastfeeding within 20 minutes.

I believe from Jenny that the baby was at a slight angle but not posterior.
