Hi all,
Just to let you know that myself and an esteemed perinatal clinical psychologist are holding a one day training event on the 9th April on "the psychology of normal pregnancy and birth". "Normal" is just NHS speak for natural.
It will cover the benefits of HypnoBirthing (in particular, how it is a fantastic way to have a normal birth), with some experiential stuff thrown in. We will also be talking about mums and baby's psychology before, during and after birth, and presenting on how"interference" can lead to psychological (therefore also physical) harm to baby and mother.
It is for birthing professionals, more so that mums to be. But any-one who wants to know more about HypnoBirthing to help them decide whether to train or not, may also be interested, as you will get direct experience of what it's all about!
