|
|
Hello,
I've just booked onto the course in June and am very excited! I'm a mother of two and a student midwife in my third year (17 weeks to go!). I think that being a Hypnobirthing Practitioner will enable me to help women obtain more choice in labour and childbirth, and be empowered to have an amazing birth experience. I am really nervous about running my own business but optimistic too!
Anyone booked on the course want to say hi?
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Emma. |

Hi Emma
I'm going in June as a be back (which means I'm already qualified and doing a refresher). I'm nervous about the running you own business bit as well, but it is exciting as well. If you want to email me we can have a chat about it.
cheers Estelle |

Hi Estelle
Thanks for your reply!
Wow, you are qualified already - have you run many courses? How have you found it?
My e-mail is emma.miles@yahoo.co.uk - could you e-mail me your e-mail address and we could chat off site.
Have you booked your accommodation yet? I was wondering if staying at the hotel is a good idea? I have found a B&B in Towcester, and a hotel there. I think the rates are a bit lower. But also don't want to feel out of the group if everyone else is staying there.
Have an early shift on labour ward in the morning, better go - catch up later! Emma |

Hi
I'm also attending the training in June. I am a Hypnobirthing mum, and am neither a Hypnotherapist or Midwife - eek. However, I love Hypnobirthing and what it is all about. Am v. excited about the course, and potentially helping others with their birthing experience.
I have a new baby though, so will have an added extra. My mum is coming to look after him whilst I'm doing the course. We will be staying in the hotel.
look forward to meeting you.
best wishes

Hi Beth
A hypnobirthing mum - wow, you have first hand knowledge - and it must have been something wonderful or you wouldn't be here! Can't wait to hear your birthing story!
Looking forward to the course too, have just booked my accommodation - down the road cos the hotel is too expensive for me (ahh.. poor student .....!)
Are you nervous? I'm worried about the hypnosis part, I know nothing whatsoever about it! Do you think I should do some previous reading/homework or something?

Hi Emma
I reckon the course will cover everything, however I would recommend you read all the birth stories on the website, and maybe something to get you into the mindset of hypnobirthing. I got a great book recommended by my hb practitioner called: magical beginnings, enchanted lives, by deepak chopra. its not the same thing as hb, but shares some basic holistic principles.
take care
