Hi Moira,
I've just picked up the post and see that you live in Lincoln. HypnoBirthing will definitely put your mind at rest. The woman in the Mother and Baby article this month was also called Moira and was one of Mia's clients. She was absolutely terrified and had a wonderful hypnobirth at home. Mia and I work closely together, I live in Barrowby just outside Grantham and we do run classes locally in Lincolnshire.
Some of the midwives at the hospital have been on the study days we run and I've heard have been singing HypnoBirthing's praises! So you would get good support from the hospital.
Why don't you give either Mia or myself a call on 0845 5082539 just to talk things through to and ask any questions that you may have in terms of classes, timescales, practise etc. Our details are on
www.mindfulmamma.co.ukI'm a hypnotherapist as well and echo Sarah's sentiments, HypnoBirthing is completely different to how a lot of hypnotherapists treat birth preparation. A lot that I know of use hypnosis as a plaster to mask the pain, while HypnoBirthing gets the root of why you don't need to feel pain.
Wishing you well,
Sophie
