Hello from Scotland

Postby Humph » Mon Mar 29, 2010 11:32 pm

Hello, I trained with Renee just this last weekend and am so inspired. I can't wait to set up my website and get marketing materials designed!

I just want to get out there and get classes arranged. Currently I work as a Doula and hope that running HB classes will complement that work.

Looking forward to being part of the Team :)

Hiya, I was exactly like you a year or so ago - I also trained with Renee and was just so excited about the whole thing. I am now teaching on the Costa del Sol and loving it. It has taken time to build up, as it is such a new concept here - but every birth is another story told and I am now fairly busy each month.
Good luck with your new venture :)

Hi,
I also trained with Renee 12 months ago. I am a midwife in Campbeltown and was lucky to have my training paid for by Argyll and Bute CHP, part of NHS Highland. I am now teaching my fifth course and have just renewed my fees. We are having some great results and as word spreads so does interest and commitment. I'm signed up to attend the Conclave this year D.V.

Thank you all for your replies. I've been pretty preoccupied with studying for a Higher in Human Biology, family life and a few births so plan to complete my paperwork as soon as the exam is over, tomorrow!!!!! I've done nearly half of it but had to put it aside to work on the Higher.

Can't wait to get finished and certified. Got a potential client to visit next week ;)

I am based in Angus and a few of my local midwives have trained with Renee so I know that any of my clients have a good chance of getting a midwife who knows what they're doing ;)
