Hi all,

Im expecting our 4th child, and am hoping to use Hypnobirthing this time! I am meeting my practitioner next week - really excited. Im 28 weeks now!

Ive just started listening to the CD that came with the book - and I dont like it at all! I read a post on this forum about a woman who was saying the same thing.

Hope to learn more from the experts around!

The book that comes with the cd is the American version of the book. The english version of the book will e given to you by your practitioner-but its not much different so don't worry. The book you have-the publishers wanted a cd as a marketing angle. Your practictioner will give you the affrimations and rainbow relaxation on it. This cd is much nicer, I didn't like the cd you have.

I found the American voice on the birth affirmations CD annoying - so I had fun writing my own affrmations that were similar, colouring and making them look pretty and stuck them over the house- on the bathroom door, next to the kettle and on the bedroom mirror so that i would read them several times a day on the loo or making decaff tea...i'm sure affirmations in one form or another definately helped to have a calm, relaxed and unmedicated birth on a subconscious level...
