Hi there Hypnobirthing ladies...

I am an exhibited fine-art photographer based about 1 hour south of London, and I'm looking to photograph pregnant women, ideally heavily pregnant (about 25 week plus?). I want to shoot images that are a break from the norm - low on the pregnancy cliches; more avant-garde, even provoking, and artistic images. You can live anywhere but must be happy to get to me in Kent.

The closest kind of 'reference' I can find to demonstrate the direction I wish to go in is this series by Kirsty Mitchell (NOT my work, but a photographer friend's):

ie. nude or implied nude, outdoors, earthy, organic, arresting...
So you may be cold or a little uncomfortable but as long as you're passionate about creating something wonderful, then we'll be on the same page!
But obviously I'm not going to subject anyone to anything they don't want to do on the day... it will be very relaxed and we'll just go with the flow.

The shoot is free for you, and I'll give you the finished images afterwards (with the condition that you do not sell them on commercially, and also that they are not altered in any way from the image as presented, ie. retouched or cropped by anyone else.)

The main thing in return is that you need to be overall happy with me sharing the images in my online portfolio and on Flickr, my blog etc. I certainly don't have to write your name with them if you prefer not to. I also ask that you sign a model release so I can potentially use the images in art books or features, but I will always let you know in advance of anything and they certainly won't be going here, there and everywhere. The shoot will be a respectful and artistic process with hopefully wonderful outcomes and images for yourself to treasure.
