Some questions

Postby 000011561 » Mon Jan 21, 2008 12:00 pm

Hi my name is Adele and i have never used this forum before.

I am currently completing health and social care coursework and i need to know some answers which i cannot seem to find my self. so i thought about asking you.

The questions i would like the answers to are as follows:

1) what training does a practitioner need to perform hypnobirthing?

2) how long should they have studied for?

3) what qualifications do they need to be a hypnobirthing practitioner?

4) Rules and regulations?

5) trials and quality controls?

if anyone could help it would be much appreciated as i am kind of struggling at the moment. :)

Please get in touch asap

Many thanks

Adele

Hi
I think all of your answers are on http://www.hypnobirthing.co.uk/practitioner/ but under uk law I don't think there are any 'rules and regulations', we have a code of ethics, as far as 'trials and quality control' HypnoBirthing is a impossible thing to do an accurate scientific experiement on, but someone does collect data from birth reposrts that are sent in by parents.
Hope this helps
