Rainbow Relaxtion CD

Postby lema06 » Fri Sep 12, 2008 12:25 pm

Hi,

I am currently 35+ weeks pregnant and have had a couple pregnancy hypnosis sessions, the sessions i am having are not hypnobirthing as i don't think my hypnotherapist is qualified but i know she has been through the course herself. So she is offering only 'pregnancy hypnosis' lessons. She speaks very highly of hypnobirthing and has recommended that i read the book, which i have, cover to cover a couple of time. However, i would like to try and get hold of the rainbow relaxtion cd to complement the hypnosis i have been having.
Does anyone know where i can get this from to either buy or download?

This might sound a bit odd, but i had thought that i had been having hypnobirthing sessions (i didn't read the information properly, was too keen to get started  ) so now i find myself very close to having my baby and wondering whether its possible to have a one off intensive session of hypnobirthing to top up the hypnosis i have already had? is this something hypnobirthing practitiioners would normally offer or is it just too late now??

Thanks
Leah

Hi Leah,

So sorry you have been misled in this way, that is very unfair of your practitioner, I think in your position I would be demanding a refund and booking proper HypnoBirthing classes with a qualified practitioner (listing available on this website).

Sadly, no you cannot have an intensive HypnoBirthing session. HypnoBirthing is a 12hr complete antenatal course and it cannot be taught in less time or as a quick session covering the basics.

Also the Rainbow Relaxation CD is sadly not available to the public to buy seperately unless approved by Marie Mongan. The CD is part of the course (given out for free on all courses), if you email hypnobirthing@hypnobirthing.com Marie Mongan may give permission to our UK distribution centre to sell you a copy as they are not authorised to sell you one without this.

Incidentally I have taught many women who have been quite a bit more pregnant that yourself when they have started classes, two of the best outcomes of the 120 women I have taught to date have been mums who didn't even start classes with me until 38wks! so it's very possible to find proper classes now.

Anyway, I hope all goes well for you. Good luck for the birth!
