Due to the recent improvements to the site structure, www.hypnobirthing.co.uk is now the #1 result for a search for "hypnobirthing UK" on Google, MSN and Yahoo (the three main search engines).

The practical impact is that anyone in the UK searching for information on HypnoBirthing will find the UK site, even if they didn't know it existed. That means more knowledge, and hopefully more referrals.

UPDATE: Since the improved ranking has taken effect, the number of unique visitors to the site each day has roughly tripled. From a median of about 30 unique visitors a day with spikes up to 70, we now get a median of about 90, with spikes over 200.

For those interested, almost 92% of search engine traffic comes from Google, with the vast majority of people searching for the single word "hypnobirthing".

Hi Gordon
Congratulations, that is fantastic news. You must have worked really hard to have us up there at the top of the search engines. On behalf of all us parents, thanks for helping make our quest for a gentle birth so much easier and on behalf of us practitioners an even bigger thanks for creating a website that benefits us all. It really sums up the philosophy of HypnoBirthing, working together in 'taking the world by calm.'
